1. Locate the chrome-plated steel legs and associated hardware from the hidden compartments.
2. Carefully turn the sofa bases upside down on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.
3. Align each leg with the pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the sofa bases.
4. Securely fasten the legs using the provided screws and tools. Ensure all connections are tight before proceeding.

2.3 Attaching Removable Armrests/Pillows

The two throw pillows can be used as armrests or headrests. They are designed to be easily placed and removed as needed for comfort or conversion.

3.1 Adjusting the Backrest Positions

The sofa features a ratchet system allowing for three adjustable backrest angles:

• 105° Sitting: Standard upright position for comfortable seating.
• 140° Lounging: A relaxed, reclined position ideal for reading or watching TV.
• 180° Napping/Flat: Fully flat position, converting the sofa into a bed for sleeping.

To adjust, gently push the backrest forward until you hear a click, then slowly recline it to your desired angle. To return to an upright position, push the backrest fully forward until it clicks into the highest position, then release it to fall back into the standard sitting position.

3.2 Utilizing the Drop-Down Cup Holders

The middle section of the sofa's backrest can be folded down to reveal a convenient table with two integrated cup holders. Simply pull the middle backrest section forward and down to engage this feature. To return it to the upright position, push it back up until it locks into place.
