2. Configuración e instalación

Follow these steps to properly install your RESTMO Water Flow Meter:

1. Preparar a conexión: Ensure your hose, nozzle, or faucet has a standard 3/4" GHT (Garden Hose Thread) connection.
2. Conectar a entrada: Screw the brass inlet of the water flow meter onto your water source (e.g., faucet, garden hose). Ensure it is hand-tightened to prevent leaks. The inlet features a filter screen to prevent debris from entering.
3. Conectar a toma de corrente: Attach your hose or watering accessory to the brass outlet of the water flow meter. Hand-tighten securely.
4. Axustar a pantalla: Rotate the control panel 360° to find the most convenient viewing angle for the LCD display.

3. Instrucións de funcionamento

The RESTMO Water Flow Meter features a single button for easy navigation through its four measurement modes:

• Modo total: Displays the cumulative total water consumption since the last reset. This mode is ideal for tracking overall water usage over extended periods.
• Modo de fluxo: Shows the real-time water flow rate in Gallons Per Minute (GPM) or Liters Per Minute (LPM). To switch between gallons and liters, long-press the button while in Flow Mode.
• Modo de consumo: Displays the water consumption from the last single watering session. This allows you to see how much water was used in your most recent task.
• Modo medio: Calculates and displays the daily average water usage over the last seven days, starting from the next day after activation.

Press the single button to cycle through these modes. The display will clearly indicate which mode is active.

4. Mantemento

Instalación/substitución da batería:

The water flow meter uses a CR2032 3V button cell battery. Replace the battery when the low battery symbol appears on the display.

1. Unscrew Cap: Locate the battery compartment cap on the back of the meter. Unscrew the cap in the direction of the "unlock" symbol. The cap has a swivel bar for easy grip.
2. Instalar batería: Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing outwards (towards you).
3. Batería segura: Ensure the battery is seated correctly. No need to adjust the position of the metal piece inside the battery compartment.
4. Tapón de rosca: Screw the cap back on in the direction of the "lock" symbol until it is secure.

• Clean the exterior of the meter with a soft, damp pano. Non use produtos de limpeza abrasivos.
• While the meter is IPX6 waterproof, avoid submerging it in water.
• Store the meter in a dry place when not in use, especially during freezing temperatures to prevent damage.

5 Solución de problemas

If you encounter issues with your RESTMO Water Flow Meter, consider the following:

• Sen pantalla/Pantalla tenue: Check the battery. Replace it if it's low or depleted. Ensure the battery is inserted with the correct polarity.
• Lecturas inexactas: Ensure the meter is securely connected and there are no leaks at the connections. Verify that the water flow is consistent and not turbulent. The measurement tolerance is less than 5%.
• Fugas nas conexións: Ensure all connections are hand-tightened. Check the rubber washers (gaskets) inside the connections for proper seating and damage. Replace if necessary.
• No Flow Detected: Ensure water is actually flowing through the meter. Check for blockages in the hose or nozzle.
