This comprehensive system combines advanced water leak detection with a high-resolution outdoor security camera to provide robust protection and monitoring for your home. The water leak detection system includes a central hub and three wireless sensors, offering real-time alerts. The outdoor security camera features 2K 4MP resolution, AI-powered human/pet detection, two-way audio, and color night vision, ensuring detailed surveillance day and night.

4.1. Water Leak Detector Setup

1. Descarga a aplicación: Busca the "AiDot" app in your mobile app store (iOS or Android) and download it.
2. Acenda o concentrador: Connect the Water Leak Detector Hub to a power outlet using the provided power adapter. The indicator light on the hub will show its status.
3. Connect Hub to WiFi:
   • Open the AiDot app and create an account or log in.
   • Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. Select the Water Leak Detector Hub.
   • Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The hub only supports 2.4GHz WiFi.
   • Enter your WiFi password when prompted. The hub will connect to your network.

   • To add additional sensors (up to 10 total), refer to the in-app instructions for "Add Sensor" or "Pair New Device" within the hub's settings.

   • Under sinks (kitchen, bathroom)
   • Near water heaters
   • Behind toilets
   • Under washing machines or dishwashers

4.2. Outdoor Security Camera Setup

1. Descarga a aplicación: Ensure you have the "AiDot" app installed on your mobile device.
2. Encender a cámara: Connect the outdoor security camera to a power source using its dedicated power adapter.
3. Engadir cámara á aplicación:
   • Open the AiDot app and select "Add Device".
   • Choose the Outdoor Security Camera from the list of available devices.
   • Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
4. Montaxe da cámara:
   • Choose a suitable outdoor location with a clear view of the area you wish to monitor. Consider factors like WiFi signal strength and power outlet proximity.
   • Use the provided mounting kit (screws and wall anchors) to securely attach the camera to a wall or ceiling.
   • Adjust the camera's angle to cover the desired surveillance area.
5. Configurar a configuración da cámara:
   • Within the AiDot app, access the camera's settings.

5. Instrucións de funcionamento

5.1. Water Leak Detector Operation

• Monitorización en tempo real: Once set up, the water leak sensors continuously monitor for the presence of water. If water is detected, the sensor will immediately send a signal to the hub.
• Notificacións de alerta: Upon detection, the hub will trigger an alarm, and you will receive instant notifications on your mobile phone via the AiDot app. Additionally, if configured, SMS messages and email alerts will be sent to your registered contacts.

• Checking Sensor Status: Podes view the status of all connected sensors within the AiDot app, including battery levels and last reported status.
• Integración IFTTT: The water detector is compatible with IFTTT (If This Then That), allowing you to create custom automations with other smart devices (e.g., turn off a smart water valve if a leak is detected).

5.2. Outdoor Security Camera Operation

• En directo View: Open the AiDot app to access a live stream from your camera at any time. The 2K 4MP resolution provides clear and detailed video.

6. Mantemento

• Water Sensor Battery Replacement: The water leak sensors are powered by alkaline batteries with an estimated life of 365 days. The AiDot app will notify you when a sensor's battery is low. To replace:
  • Gently twist or open the sensor casing.
  • Remove the old battery and insert a new one of the same type (refer to sensor for battery type, typically CR2032 or similar).

• Limpeza da lente da cámara: Periodically clean the camera lens with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to ensure optimal image clarity. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Actualizacións de firmware: The AiDot app will notify you of available firmware updates for both the hub and the camera. It is recommended to install these updates to ensure optimal performance, security, and access to new features. Follow the in-app instructions for updating.
