2. Configuración
2.1 Enrolamento inicial
Your SEIKO automatic watch is powered by the motion of your wrist. Before initial use or if the watch has stopped, it needs to be wound. You can do this in two ways:
- Enrolamento manual: Rotate the crown clockwise several times (approximately 20-30 turns) while it is in the normal (pushed-in) position. This will start the movement and build up some power reserve.
- Enrolamento automático: Wear the watch on your wrist. Normal daily activities will cause the rotor inside the watch to spin, winding the mainspring. For a full power reserve (approx. 41 hours), wear the watch for at least 8-10 hours.

- Saca a coroa: Gently pull the crown out to the second click position. The second hand will stop.
- Establece a hora: Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands. To ensure accurate time setting, set the time a few minutes ahead and then turn the crown counter-clockwise to the desired time.
- Empurrar a coroa: Once the time is set, push the crown back into the normal position. The second hand will resume movement.
- Setting the Day/Date: Pull the crown out to the first click position. Rotate the crown clockwise to set the date and counter-clockwise to set the day. Avoid setting the day/date between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM, as this can damage the movement.
- Axuste final: After setting the day/date, push the crown back to the normal position.

3. Funcionamento do reloxo
3.1 Movemento automático
The Caliber 4R36 movement is a self-winding mechanical movement. It does not require a battery. The mainspring is wound by the natural motion of your arm while wearing the watch. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it will stop. Simply re-wind it manually or wear it to restart.
3.2 Resistencia á auga (100 m / 10 bar)
This watch is water-resistant to 100 meters (10 bar). This means it is suitable for everyday use, swimming, and snorkeling. It is not suitable for scuba diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water.

3.3 Bisel xiratorio unidireccional
The watch features a uni-directional rotating bezel. This bezel can be used to measure elapsed time. Rotate the bezel counter-clockwise to align the zero mark with the minute hand. The minute hand's position on the bezel will then indicate the elapsed time.

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, especially on the bracelet, use a soft brush with mild soapy water, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry completely. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before cleaning with water.

5 Solución de problemas
- O reloxo parou ou funciona de forma imprecisa: The watch may not have sufficient power reserve. Manually wind the watch by turning the crown clockwise 20-30 times, or wear it continuously for 8-10 hours.
- Day/Date changes at noon instead of midnight: This indicates the AM/PM setting is incorrect. Advance the time by 12 hours.
- Condensación no interior do cristal: This may indicate a breach in the water resistance. Immediately take the watch to an authorized SEIKO service center for inspection and repair.
- Crown is difficult to operate: Ensure no debris is lodged around the crown. If the issue persists, do not force it and contact a service center.
