- Lea o manual completo: Lea todas as instrucións e advertencias antes do uso.
- Usar o equipo de protección individual (EPI) axeitado: This includes a safety helmet, eye protection, hearing protection, heavy-duty gloves, chainsaw protective trousers, and safety boots.
- Inspeccione a motoserra antes de cada uso: Ensure all parts are secure, the chain is sharp and properly tensioned, and there are no damaged components.
- Manteña afastados aos transeúntes: Maintain a safe distance of at least 15 meters (50 feet) from other people and animals.
- Work in a well-lit area: Ensure good visibility of your work area.
- Do not operate when fatigued or under the influence: Never use the chainsaw if you are tired, ill, or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
- Evitar o cobro por mordacidade: Be aware of the kickback danger zone at the tip of the guide bar. Always hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- Almacenar de forma segura: When not in use, store the chainsaw in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children, with the battery removed.
2.2 Seguridade eléctrica
- Use only Greenworks 40V batteries and chargers: Using incompatible batteries or chargers can result in fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Do not expose battery tools to rain or wet conditions: Water entering a battery tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
- Retire a batería cando non a estea en uso: Retire sempre a batería da motoserra antes de facer axustes, cambiar accesorios ou gardar a ferramenta.
3. Montaxe e Montaxe
Before operating your chainsaw, it requires proper assembly and preparation.
3.1 Desembalaxe
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. Dispose of packaging materials responsibly.
3.2 Installing the Guide Bar and Saw Chain
- Coloque a motoserra sobre unha superficie firme e plana.
- Loosen the chain cover knob and remove the chain cover.
- Carefully place the saw chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the direction of rotation (indicated on the guide bar).
- Align the guide bar over the guide bar studs.
- Replace the chain cover and hand-tighten the chain cover knob. Do not fully tighten yet.
3.3 Axuste da tensión da cadea
Proper chain tension is crucial for safe and efficient operation. A new chain may stretch, requiring frequent adjustments.
- With the chain cover knob slightly loose, use the chain tensioning screw to adjust the chain tension.
- The chain is correctly tensioned when it can be pulled away from the guide bar by approximately 2-3 mm at the center, and the drive links are seated in the guide bar groove.
- Once tension is correct, fully tighten the chain cover knob securely.
3.4 Encher o depósito de aceite da cadea
The chainsaw features an automatic oiler system. Always use high-quality bar and chain oil.
- Unscrew the oil cap and fill the reservoir with bar and chain oil. The reservoir capacity is 180 ml.
- Monitor the oil level through the translucent window.
- Volva colocar a tapa do aceite de forma segura.
3.5 Instalación da batería
This chainsaw operates with any Greenworks 40V 2Ah or 4Ah battery.
- Slide the battery pack into the battery compartment until it clicks into place.
4. Instrucións de funcionamento
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your Greenworks 40V Cordless Chainsaw.
4.1 Comprobacións previas á operación
- Verify chain tension.
- Check chain oil level.
- Inspect the work area for obstacles, bystanders, and clear escape routes.
4.2 Arranque e parada da motoserra
- Comezar: Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands. Press the safety lock-out button (usually on the top of the rear handle) with your thumb, then squeeze the trigger switch. The chain will begin to move.
- Parar: Solte o interruptor de disparo. A cadea parará inmediatamente.
Característica de seguridade: The two-button safety function prevents accidental starting, requiring both the safety lock-out and trigger to be engaged.
4.3 Técnicas básicas de corte
- Manteña unha suxeición firme: Always hold the chainsaw with both hands, one on the front handle and one on the rear handle.
- Stand securely: Ensure stable footing and balance.
- Planifica o teu corte: Identify the direction of fall for trees and branches.
- Avoid cutting with the tip: This is the kickback zone. Use the bottom or top of the guide bar for cutting.
- Let the saw do the work: Do not force the chainsaw. Apply light pressure and allow the chain to cut through the wood.
- Limbing: When cutting branches, support the branch to prevent it from pinching the guide bar.
5. Mantemento
- Remove the chain cover and clean out sawdust and debris from the sprocket area, guide bar groove, and chain.
- Wipe down the exterior of the chainsaw with a damp pano. Non use disolventes.
5.2 Afiado da cadea
A sharp chain is essential for efficient and safe cutting. Sharpen the chain regularly or have it professionally sharpened. Refer to the chain manufacturer's specifications for the correct file tamaño e ángulos de afiado.
- Flip the guide bar regularly to ensure even wear on both sides.
- Check for burrs on the guide bar rails and file them smooth if present.
5.4 Chain Oiler System
The automatic oiler ensures continuous lubrication. Regularly check the oil level and refill as needed. If the chain is not oiling, check for blockages in the oil port or guide bar groove.
