1. Introdución

4. Configuración e montaxe

The Scheppach EHT610 hedge trimmer comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps for initial setup:

2. Remove blade cover: Slide the blade cover off the cutting blade. Keep the cover for safe storage.

5.1 Arranque e parada

• To start the hedge trimmer, press and hold the safety switch (usually on the front handle) and then press the main trigger switch (on the rear handle).
• To stop the hedge trimmer, release the main trigger switch.

5.3 Técnicas de recorte

• Top trimming: Hold the hedge trimmer at a slight angle to the top of the hedge, moving it in a sweeping motion.
• Recorte lateral: Work from the bottom upwards, using a wide, sweeping motion. This helps ensure cut material falls away from the uncut hedge.

6. Mantemento

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your hedge trimmer. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance.

6.1 Limpeza

• After each use, clean the blades of sap and debris using a stiff brush and a suitable cleaning agent (e.g., resin solvent).
