Inside Mount Measurement:

• Measure the width at the top, middle, and bottom of the window frame to the nearest 1/8 inch. Order the narrowest width.
• Measure the height at the left, middle, and right of the window frame to the nearest 1/8 inch. Order the height that most closely matches the longest measurement, rounding up if needed.
• Note any obstacles (cranks, handles, tracks) that may interfere with the shade's function.

Outside Mount Measurement:

• Measure the width between the outermost points where you want the shade to extend. Overlap each side by at least 3/4 inch.
• Measure the height from the highest point where you intend to install the shade to the sill where the bottom will rest. Overlap the top by at least 3 inches when possible. If there is no sill, measure at least 3 inches below the bottom of the window.
