1. Introdución

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of your Gevi Nugget Ice Maker, Model IMNE0. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

2. Configuración

2.1 Desembalaxe

Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Inspect for any damage. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.

2.2 Colocación

Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. The compact size makes it suitable for countertops.

2.3 Conexión de alimentación

Connect the 5-foot power cord to a grounded 120V AC outlet. The unit uses a three-prong plug for safety.

2.4 Limpeza inicial

Before first use, it is recommended to run the auto-cleaning cycle. Refer to Section 4.1 for detailed instructions on using the auto-cleaning function.

2.5 Engadir auga

Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the 'MAX' line indicated inside the unit. Do not overfill.

3. Instrucións de funcionamento

3.1 Acendido/Apagado

Preme o botón de acendido (⏻) on the control panel to turn the ice maker on or off. The ice making indicator (snowflake symbol) will illuminate when the unit is active.

3.2 Ice Making Process

Once powered on and with sufficient water, the ice maker will automatically begin producing ice. The first batch of nugget ice typically takes 5-8 minutes. Subsequent batches may be faster.

3.3 Luces indicadoras

• Ice Making (Snowflake Symbol): Illuminates when the unit is actively producing ice.
• Add Water (Water Drop Symbol): Ilumínase cando é necesario encher o depósito de auga.
• Ice Full (Ice Cup Symbol): Illuminates when the ice basket is full, and ice production will pause until ice is removed.

3.4 Using the Ice Scoop

The included ice scoop can be used to retrieve ice from the basket. The ice basket has a capacity of approximately 1.5 pounds of nugget ice.

4. Mantemento

To activate the auto-cleaning cycle, press and hold the cleaning button (sparkle symbol) for 3 seconds. The cycle typically takes 5 minutes to complete. This function helps maintain hygiene and performance.

4.2 Descalcificación

It is recommended to descale your machine once a month. If you live in an area with hard water, descaling may be required more frequently (every two to three weeks). Descaling helps prevent mineral buildup and ensures optimal ice quality.

5 Solución de problemas

• "Add Water" Indicator is On: The water reservoir is low. Refill with potable water up to the 'MAX' line.
• "Ice Full" Indicator is On: The ice basket is full. Remove ice to resume production.
• A unidade non se acende: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functional 120V AC outlet. Check the power button. If issues persist, consult customer support.
• Ice Production is Slow or Inconsistent: Check water levels. Ensure the unit is not placed near heat sources. Perform a descaling cycle if mineral buildup is suspected.
