3. Configuración e montaxe

Before first use, ensure all components are present and undamaged. This chainsaw comes largely pre-assembled, but the battery needs to be charged and installed, and the chain tension checked.

3.1 Carga da batería

1. Conecta o cargador a unha toma de corrente estándar.
2. Deslice a batería de 20 V e 5.0 Ah no cargador ata que encaixe no seu lugar.
3. Allow the battery to charge fully. The charger indicator light will change to show a full charge (refer to charger manual for specific light patterns).
4. Unha vez cargada, desconecte a batería do cargador.

3.2 Instalación da batería

• Align the battery pack with the battery port on the chainsaw handle.

3.3 Comprobación da tensión da cadea

A tensión axeitada da cadea é fundamental para un funcionamento seguro e eficiente. A cadea debe estar ben axustada á barra guía, pero aínda así debe poder ser tirada coa man.

1. Asegúrate de retirar a batería por seguridade.
2. Locate the tool-free tensioning knob on the side of the chainsaw.
3. Rotate the knob to adjust the chain tension. Turn clockwise to tighten, counter-clockwise to loosen.
4. The chain is correctly tensioned when there is no sag on the underside of the guide bar, and the chain can still be moved freely by hand.

4. Instrucións de funcionamento

Always wear appropriate safety gear before operating the chainsaw. Familiarize yourself with the controls before starting any cutting tasks.

4.1 Arranque e parada da motoserra

1. Asegúrate de que a batería estea completamente cargada e instalada de forma segura.
2. Suxeita a motoserra firmemente coas dúas mans.
3. To start, press and hold the safety lock button, then squeeze the trigger switch. The chain will begin to move.
4. To stop, release the trigger switch. The chain will stop rotating.

4.2 Técnicas de corte

• Poda de pólas: When cutting small branches, support the branch to prevent it from pinching the chain. Make relief cuts if necessary.
• Corte de troncos pequenos: For logs on the ground, ensure they are stable and cannot roll. Cut from the top down, being mindful of the chain's path.
• Evitar o cobro por mordacidade: Never cut with the tip of the guide bar. Always use the bottom or top edge of the bar. Maintain a secure stance and firm grip.
• Corte por riba do vértice: Avoid cutting above shoulder height. If necessary, use a stable platform and exercise extreme caution.

5. Mantemento

Un mantemento regular garante a lonxevidade e o funcionamento seguro da motoserra. Retire sempre a batería antes de realizar calquera mantemento.

5.1 Limpeza

• After each use, clean the chainsaw body with a damp pano.
• Remove sawdust and debris from the guide bar and chain area using a brush or compressed air.
• Asegúrese de que as aberturas de ventilación estean libres de obstáculos.

5.2 Afiado da cadea

A sharp chain is essential for efficient cutting and safety. A dull chain will cause the chainsaw to work harder and produce poor cuts.

• Refer to a specialized chainsaw chain sharpening guide or consult a professional for proper sharpening techniques.
• Asegurar o correcto file size is used for your chain.
• Alternatively, replace the chain when it becomes dull or damaged beyond sharpening.

5.3 Almacenamento

• Remove the battery pack from the chainsaw before storage.
