This module is compatible with most OMTech CO2 laser systems, excluding K40 and Polar series models (USB-2440-US, USB-3655-US, CEH-1409-U1).

This module automatically switches between high-pressure cutting and low-pressure engraving modes, optimizing results and improving efficiency. It helps eliminate fumes, reduces charring, and allows for deeper, faster cuts.

2. Instrucións de configuración

Follow these steps to properly set up your OMTech Air Assist Module:

Desembalaxe: Carefully remove the Air Assist Module from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit.
Colocación: Position the module on a stable, level surface near your CO2 laser engraver/cutter. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
External Air Compressor Connection (if applicable): While the unit has a built-in compressor, an external compressor can be connected if desired. Refer to your laser machine's manual for specific air input requirements.

3.1 Acendido e apagado

To power on, flip the main power switch to the 'ON' position.
To power off, flip the main power switch to the 'OFF' position.

3.2 Automatic Pressure Switching

Once connected to your compatible OMTech CO2 laser machine, the Air Assist Module will automatically detect whether the laser is performing an engraving or cutting operation. It will then adjust the air pressure accordingly:

Low Pressure (Engraving): For detailed engraving, the module provides a lower, steady airflow to prevent excessive charring and maintain fine detail.
High Pressure (Cutting): For cutting through materials, the module delivers a powerful, high-pressure airflow (80L/min) to clear debris, reduce flare-ups, and achieve cleaner, deeper cuts.

4. Mantemento

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Air Assist Module.

Drain Water/Condensate: Periodically check and drain any accumulated water or condensate from the drain port. The frequency depends on humidity levels and usage.
