1. Configuración

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed and the machine is placed on a stable, flat surface.

1.1 Instalación e recheo do depósito de auga

Locate the removable water tank at the back of the machine. Lift it out, fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line, and securely place it back into position.

1.2 Coffee Bean Hopper

Open the lid of the integrated coffee bean hopper located on top of the machine. Pour fresh whole coffee beans into the hopper. Ensure the lid is closed properly after filling.

1.3 Portafilter and Filters

Select the appropriate filter (single or double shot) and place it into the portafilter. For ground coffee, fill the filter and tamp it evenly. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by aligning it and twisting it firmly to the right until it locks.

2. Instrucións de funcionamento

The PRIXTON Napoli Espresso Machine offers versatile brewing options for various coffee preferences.

2.1 Acendido e prequecemento

Press the power button on the touch control panel. The machine will begin preheating. Wait until the indicator lights stabilize, typically around 92°C, before brewing for optimal results.

2.2 Moer grans de café

Use the grinder adjustment knob to select one of the 22 grind levels. For espresso, a finer grind is generally preferred. Press the 'Grind' button on the touch panel to start grinding the desired amount of coffee directly into the portafilter.

2.3 Preparación de café expreso

Place your cup(s) on the drip tray. Select either 1 or 2 cups on the touch control panel. The machine will automatically brew your espresso with 20 bars of pressure for a rich extraction.

2.4 Using Ground Coffee or Capsules

For pre-ground coffee, fill the appropriate filter in the portafilter and tamp. For capsules, use the included adapter. Insert the capsule into the adapter, then place it into the portafilter. Follow the brewing steps as for whole beans.

2.5 Leite fumegante

Fill a milk frothing pitcher with cold milk. Position the adjustable steam wand into the milk. Activate the steam function using the touch control panel. Rotate the steam knob to control steam intensity and froth milk to your desired consistency for cappuccinos or lattes.

3. Mantemento

3.1 Cleaning Removable Accessories

The coffee bean hopper can be removed by twisting. Use the provided brush to clean any residual coffee grounds from the grinder burrs and the hopper itself. Regular cleaning prevents blockages and ensures consistent grind quality.

Depending on water hardness, descaling should be performed periodically (e.g., every 2-3 months) to remove mineral buildup. Follow the instructions provided with a suitable descaling solution for espresso machines. Always rinse the machine thoroughly with clean water after descaling.
