Wash all non-electrical components with undiluted baby bottle detergent and rinse thoroughly. Sterilize in a UV sterilizer, steam sterilizer, or boiling water for up to 5 minutes. Never immerse the Breast Pump Device or electrical components in water.
It is not recommended to heat breast milk in a microwave, as uneven heating can cause hot spots. Hegen suggests placing the sealed Breast Milk Storage Container in a bowl of warm water instead to safely bring it to body temperature.
