Descrición do produto
The EU-R-8s Plus room regulator is designed for controlling heating devices. It works in conjunction with zone controllers and communicates wirelessly. The main function is to maintain the set room temperature by sending signals to the heating device when the desired temperature is achieved. Available in white or black color options, the controller features a large display, glass front panel, built-in temperature sensor, humidity sensor, floor sensor (optional), time heating program, manual mode, heating/cooling options, battery level indicator, signal strength display, pre-set temperature setting, and button lock function.

Instrucións de uso do produto

1. Mostrar información:
   The current temperature is shown on the screen. Press EXIT to switch between temperature and humidity screens.
2. Modo manual:
   Adjust the pre-set temperature manually on the main screen using the buttons. To exit manual mode, hold the EXIT button.
3. Bloqueo do botón:
   Press Menu, select Loc function, choose yes or no for button lock, confirm by waiting 5 seconds or pressing Menu. To unlock buttons, hold both buttons until the padlock icon disappears.

PRECAUCIÓN! THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR CANNOT BE IMMERSED IN ANY LIQUID (OIL ETC). THIS MAY RESULT IN DAMAGING THE CONTROLLER AND LOSS OF WARRANTY! THE ACCEPTABLE RELATIVE HUMIDITY OF THE CONTROLLER’S ENVIRONMENT IS 5÷85% REL.H. WITHOUT THE STEAM CONDENSATION EFFECT.  THE DEVICE IS NOT INTENDED TO BE OPERATED BY CHILDREN.

• Activities related to setting and regulation of the controller parameters described in the Instruction Manual and parts wearing out during normal operation, such as fuses, are not covered by warranty repairs. The warranty does not cover damages arising as a result of improper operation or through the user’s fault, mechanical damage or damage created as a result of fire, flood,  atmospheric discharges, overvoltage or short-circuit. The interference of an unauthorized service, wilful repairs, modifications and construction changes cause the loss of Warranty. TECH controllers have protective seals. Removing a seal results in the loss of Warranty. The costs of uan njustifiable service call to a defect will be borne exclusively by the buyer. The unjustifiable service call is defi ned as a call to remove damages not resulting from the Guarantor’s fault as well as a call considered unjustifiable by the service after diagnosing the device (e.g. damage of the equipment through the fault of the client or not subject to Warranty), or if the device defect occurred for reasons lying beyond the device. In order to execute the rights arising from this Warranty, the user is obliged, at his own cost and risk, to deliver the device to the Guarantor along with a correctly filled-in warranty card (containing in particular the sale date, the seller’s signature and a description of the defect) and sales proof (receipt, VAT invoice, etc.). The Warranty Card is the only basis for repair free of charge. The complaint repair time is 14 days. When the Warranty Card is lost or damaged, the manufacturer does not issue a duplicate.

We are committed to protecting the environment. Manufacturing electronic devices imposes an obligation of provide for environmentally safe disposal of used electronic components and devices. Hence, we have been entered into a register kept by the Inspection For Environmental Protection. The crossed-out bin symbol on a product means that the product may not be disposed of to household waste containers. Recycling of wastes helps to protect the environment. The user is obliged to transfer their used equipment to a collection point where all electric and electronic components.

O regulador está alimentado con baterías; recoméndase revisar as baterías de cando en vez e substituílas polo menos unha vez cada tempada de calefacción.

DESCRICIÓN
The EU-R-8s Plus room regulator is intended for controlling the heating device. It cooperates with the zone controllers and communicates with them wirelessly. Its main task is to maintain the pre-set room temperature by sending a signal to the heating device informing that the pre-set temperature has been reached. Colour versions available: white or black Controller features:

• pantalla grande de fácil lectura
• panel frontal feito de vidro
• sensor de temperatura incorporado, sensor de humidade e sensor de chan (opcional)
• programa de calefacción temporal

A temperatura actual móstrase na pantalla. Para cambiar da pantalla de temperatura á pantalla de humidade, prema SALIR.

Modo manual

• The preset temperature may be adjusted manually in the main screen view usando os botóns  . Holding the EXIT button while in being in manual mode exits this mode.

Bloqueo de botón 

• after pressing the Menu button, the Loc function appears. Use one of the buttons     to select yes or no (enabling / disabling the button lock). In order to confirm, wait for about 5 seconds or press Menu. To unlock the buttons, hold both the buttons  ata que a icona do cadeado desapareza.

COMO INSTALAR O REGULADOR

• O regulador debe ser instalado por unha persoa cualificada.

COMO REXISTR O REGULADOR
In order to register the regulator in the main controller, go to Zones > Registration as described in the manual of the given controller. Next, briefly press the registration button in the EU-R-8s Plus regulator. After reg is displayed, briefly press the registration button again. If the registration process has been successful, SCs appears on the screen. If any errors occurred, the regulator displays Err. In order to register the regulator as a floor sensor, press the registration button twice.

NOTA

• Para rexistrar o regulador, os botóns deben estar desbloqueados.
• Só se pode asignar 1 regulador a unha zona.
• Non se pode anular o rexistro do regulador, senón só desactivarse.
• Se o usuario intenta rexistrar un sensor nunha zona diferente, o sensor non está rexistrado na primeira zona e rexistrarase na outra.

Holding the registration button on the controller for a few seconds will enable synchronization and consequently any change in the pre-set temperature in the main controller will automatically result in the same change in the regulator. Without synchronization, a change in the pre-set temperature in the main controller will cause a change in the regulator after a momentary delay. * Holding the registration button while turning the regulator on will calibrate the buttons.

COMO CAMBIAR A TEMPERATURA PRESET
The pre-set temperature in the zone can be changed directly from the EU-R-8s Plus regulator using the buttons . Para facelo posible, o controlador debe estar rexistrado no controlador principal. Se o regulador mostra Una despois dun dos botóns  is pressed, it means that the controller is not registered. It is possible to change the pre-set temperature in the screen view coa temperatura preestablecida e actual, utilizando os botóns .

• Despois de configurar a temperatura desexada, a pantalla mostra a hora na que se aplicará o valor de temperatura. Este tempo pódese editar usando os botóns .
• A función OFF desactiva os parámetros configurados manualmente e significa que se aplicarán os axustes resultantes da programación semanal definida no controlador principal.
• Se se seleccionou Con, a configuración manual aplicarase de forma permanente independentemente da configuración da programación.

Se a temperatura preestablecida é superior á temperatura actual, a calefacción actívase e aparece a icona de chama. Esta icona non se mostra cando se seleccionou a función OFF.

FUNCIÓNS DO MENÚ

Para entrar no menú do regulador, manteña premido o botón Menú. A continuación, prema este botón para cambiar entre as funcións.
Calibración sensor de temperatura

Esta función permite ao usuario comprobar o valor da calibración do sensor de temperatura. O rango de configuración de calibración é de -10 °C a +10 °C e pódese axustar no controlador principal.

Configuración de fábrica
A función Fab permite ao usuario restaurar a configuración de fábrica. Cando se selecciona esta opción, a pantalla comeza a parpadear. Use os botóns para cambiar o último díxito a 1. Para confirmar, agarde uns 5 segundos ou prema o botón Menú.

Versión de software
Esta función permite ao usuario comprobar a versión actual do software. O número de versión é necesario cando se contacta co persoal de servizo.

P: Que debo facer se perdo a tarxeta de garantía?

A: If the Warranty Card is lost or damaged, the manufacturer does not issue a duplicate. Contact customer support for further assistance.

P: Cantas veces debo substituír as pilas?

A: It is recommended to check the batteries periodically and replace them at least once every heating season to ensure proper functioning of the regulator.
