ATAGO support FAQ

Preguntas frecuentes sobre manuais, rexistro e asistencia técnica para esta marca.

  • How do I calibrate my ATAGO refractometer?

For most models like the PAL series, clean the prism, apply water (distilled or tap, depending on the model), and press the ZERO or CAL button. Ensure the prism is clean before zero-setting.

  • Cal é o período de garantía para ATAGO instruments?

The standard warranty is 1 year from the date of purchase. This can be extended to 2 years by registering your product on the ATAGO websitio.

  • How should I clean the prism after use?

Limpar o sample off with a wet tissue or wash the prism with water (if the unit is water-resistant). Dry the area thoroughly with a soft tissue. Do not use metal tools that may scratch the glass prism.

  • Why are my measurements fluctuating?

Fluctuations often occur if the sample temperature differs significantly from the instrument's temperature. Wait approximately 20 seconds for the Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) to stabilize before pressing the START button.

  • Can I wash the whole unit under water?

Models rated IP65 (like the PAL series and MASTER-alpha) are water-resistant and can be rinsed under running water. However, they should not be submerged excessively, and the eyepiece section on some analog models is not water-resistant.
